How is Profhilo different to other skin booster treatments?

1. High HA concentration with a unique composition
Profhilo has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) on the market - please read more about the 'wonders' of HA on our lip fillers page. It's unique HA molecule composition produces an increase in our body's own HA, collagen and elastin; this brings hydration, elasticity, improved skin quality and tissue structure.
2. Prolonged duration
Profhilo is a stabilised product which means it lasts in the skin; in the case of Profhilo, this is around 28 days
3. Skin 'remodelled', as well as 'boosted'
Whilst present in the skin, there is a slow release of HA. This stimulates four different forms of collagen and elastin, resulting in significant tissue improvement: as well as the healthier, smoother and more radiant skin that we would expect to see with a skin booster, Profhilo also produces a lifting and tightening effect on the skin
4. Fewer injections
Profhilo only requires five injection points into the area of concern. Other skin boosters usually require multiple injection points to administer the product.

Profhilo treatment course

Profhilo is injected into the skin in a specific pattern depending on the area to be treated. The two treatments required are 4 weeks apart: the first to stimulate; the second to ‘boost’ and ensure longevity. In some cases, and depending on your initial skin quality, you may benefit from a third treatment, typically 8 weeks from your second treatment.

Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own; it can also be used in combination with other aesthetic treatments.
